Do You Write Press Releases? Do They Work For You?

I just wrote a press release about my participation in the Facebook group for Veterans, as I would like to spread the word out there in the county. Hopefully, a few articles will go out about this, and I hope to be able to help a veteran in need.

This is for veterans who are in need, but not in so much need that they are eligible for a short sale. (In that case, the bank pays the commissions and the closing costs, so I am not saving the veteran a thing) If there is a veteran in need out there, who needs to list their home for sale, I would be delighted to forego the commission. Real Estate Brokers For VeteransI have included my press release here .....

DAGNY EASON OF DAGNY’S REAL ESTATE, OFFERS VETERANS COMMISSION FREE LISTING AND REPRESENTATION

Wilton, CT., February 9, 2012-Dagny Eason, Founder of Dagny’s Real Estate in Wilton, CT., has joined a Facebook Group, Real Estate Brokers for Veterans. The mission of the group is for Real Estate Brokers to pledge in 2012 to list and sell a home of a US Service veteran in need, pro bono. Dagny has pledged to list and sell one veteran’s house in the year 2012 without commission. While she cannot guarantee that the buyer brokerage will forgo their end, Dagny will charge no listing commission.

Real Estate Brokers for Veterans is a group on Facebook which wants to give back to Veterans who need help here and around the country. The Facebook Group was established to create a way to give back to Veterans who have given so much to this country. While other professions such as lawyers, have an obligation to take on pro bono work, Real Estate Professionals do not have this obligation so all this work is voluntary. Dagny Eason is honored to be able to offer this free service and hopes that anyone who wishes to nominate a Veteran for this service contact her through email at [email protected] or call her at 203.762.1700.
