Fairfield County will be full of July 4th celebrations this weekend. How do you plan to celebrate America's Independence Day? Check out the list of festivities that will be held in our neighboring towns.

How will you be celebrating America's Independence? Fireworks, picnics and festivities with family and friends will be aplenty throughout Fairfield County. Here is a list of the July 4th celebrations and fireworks displays in the area.

WILTON

Monday, July 4th at Wilton High School

Cost: Fireworks parking passes are required. Prepaid passes can be purchased for $35 at the Wilton Parks & Rec office. Parking that night can be purchased for $20. Click here for 4th of July Booster Parking Pass form.

8:30 am - Freedom Run Road Race at the Wilton HIgh School Track. Click here for race info

12 pm - Republicans vs. Democrats Softball Game

5 pm - One Bad Oyster band

6:30 pm - Shelter Dogs band

RIDGEFIELD

Monday, July 4th Festivities

Cost: Fireworks parking passes are required. Passes can be purchased for $20 at Ridgefield Town Hall, Fairfield County Bank or the Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce. Handicapped parking will be available at Ridgefield High School. Overflow parking with shuttle service will be at Barlow Mountain and Scotland Elementary Schools.

10 am - Sandcastle Building Contest at Martins Park Beach. Judging is to be held at 3 pm. Free entry into the contest. Entry to the beach without membership is $15 for residents and $20 for non-residents per person. Senior (60+) residents are free. Senior non-residents are $18 per person or free with a member.

6 pm - Gates open at Ridgefield High School for fireworks display.

7 pm - Air National Guard Band of the Northeast

WESTON

Monday, July 4th at Weston Middle School

Cost: $20 fireworks admission per car or $5 walk-in admission fee for 5 yrs and older. No charge for children 4 yrs and under.

8 - 11 am - Mini Triathalon for Kids and Adults

4:30 pm - Gates open

5 - 9 pm Barbeque, Ice cream cart and glow stick sales

6 - 7 pm Westport Community Band

6:15 - 7:15 pm - The Magic Genie

7:15 - 9:20 pm - Cash is King Band

9:20 pm - Fireworks

WESTPORT

Thursday, June 30th at Compo Beach

Cost: Fireworks tickets can be purchased at $35 per car at the Westport Police Dept or the Westport Park and Recs office. Tickets sales are limited and are on a first come first serve basis beginning June 1st. Once tickets are sold out, shuttle passes will be available for purchase.

NEW CANAAN

Monday, July 4th Festivities

9 am - Four on the Fourth Road Race at St. Marks Church. Advance registration and check in are at the New Canaan New Balance Store, 128 Main Street, Sat, June 25th through Sun, July 3rd at 3 pm. Entry fees are $14.50 online, $17 by mail or race week and $20 on race day. Race day registration begins at 8 am at the New Canaan New Balance Store. Click here for more info and to register online.

NORWALK

Sunday, July 3rd at Calf Pasture Beach

Cost: $20 parking fee per car without a Norwalk Resident Pass.

REDDING

Saturday, July 2nd Rock'n Roots Revival at Redding Historical Society/Lonetown Farm Museum, Route 107 in Redding

Cost: $15 admission fee. Children under 12 yrs are free.

Beer and Wine by the Georgetown Lions Club. Food by Uncle Leo.

DARIEN

Saturday, July 2nd at Darien High School

Cost: Prepaid parking passes are required. Parking passes for $30 can be purchased at Town Hall from June 15th - July 1st. No parking passes will be sold at the Darien High School gate.

6:30 pm - Gates open. Local food vendors and the Darien Community Band will be at the event.

Dark - Fireworks

Monday, July 4th at Tilley Pond Park

Cost: Free and open to the public but there is a suggested $20 donation per family

10:30 am - Push and Pull Parade - Patriotic parade of children riding non-motorized vehicles including bikes, scooters and wagons. Start time is 10:30 am, but it is recommended for families to arrive at the Goodwives Shopping Center at 9:45 am. A contest awarding different honors such as "Best Decorated" vehicle and "Most Patriotic" dressed family will held. Winners will be announced at 10:20 am and will lead the parade. Mary Ann Hall's Music for Children will entertain the crowd before kick-off. The parade will go down Brookside Road and Post Road to Tilley Pond Park where there will be food vendors, children's activities and live entertainment by the Ray and Jay Band.

GREENWICH

Saturday, July 2nd at Binney Park

Weeskum Road will be closed by early evening. Handicapped parking will be available on Binney Park Road near the tennis courts.

7:30 pm - South Beach Community Band

9:10 pm - Fireworks

Saturday, July 2nd at Greenwich Point

Cost: $35 Parking fee plus $7 per person entry fee

Standard rules for Greenwich Point access will be the same on this day. Greenwich Point will be closed when parking capacity is met and to all vehicular traffic at 8:30 pm.

A disc jockey will be stationed near the south concession stand.

9:35 pm - Fireworks

Monday, July 4th at Greenwich Town Hall

Cost: Free

9 - 11 am - Independence Day Ceremony - The American Flag will be raised by the Honor Guard of the Boys and Girls Club of Greenwich. The flags of the 13 colonies will be paraded by the Greenwich Scouts. Greenwich citizens will be honored and Revolutionary War patriots saluted. Good Citizen winners from Greenwich public and private schools will be recognized. The Sound Beach Community Band will play and refreshments will be served inside Town Hall.
