New Connecticut First Time Home Buyers . . . It Was An  ActiveRain Arrangement

 

These first time home buyers were relocating into Connecticut from New York State. They had been looking at homes online for a few months as they had 2 possible locations. By seeking locations, their first connection was Dagny Eason in Wilton CT.

As they explained their needs, they soon were out of lower Fairfield County and making their way up to Central Connecticut. Dagny then gave me a call to refer them to me to help them with their search.  She gave them my name and they also went and did their research and felt that my blogs gave insight to my capabilities.

Their search was within locations that I service, with a couple of extreme homes, but I couldn’t justify calling it quits with them after half a search and turning them over to someone else.

Our first afternoon out they found the home that caught their attentions and made their hearts light up. Within a week of making their first call they were under contract. Then it was time for inspections. I gave them a couple of names, they did their online research and called James Quarello to come out and complete the job. The online information offered by James on his website and his blog was the deciding factor in choosing him.

Six weeks after their first phone call, they closed on their home. Throughout their home search process these buyers were always seeking information online. At each stage of their search, it was the personae of the person they choose that won their attention, most of which came from the presence offered on their ActiveRain posts.

 

I know that for me, it was ActiveRain that introduced me to each of the other people that put this connection together. I would have never made their acquaintance without the blog platform. But better yet was that the buyer found confidence in the participants because of their Internet blog presence.
