Today was a normal day in the real estate world filled with lots of odds and ends... Started at 7:45 am with a trip to the hardware store for driveway markers (needed 20), then a paddle tennis match at a nearby club (where I bumped into an old friend who I hadn't seen in ten years!), then off to pick up a short sale agreement signed by a client nearby, and off to .....
Oh! I need some pictures of that spot! What a perfect blog post in a town where I have few posts so far.... Today was the perfect picture day - gorgeous sun, not much wind, blue sky. I had 10 extra minutes, so I quickly took about 20 pictures. I drove the community and took a lot of pictures from lots of angles. That will be good picture fodder for at least 5 posts.
Then I raced home to plant some tulip bulbs with the girlfriend of my nephew. We had a lot of laughs digging and talking while planting all of 30 bulbs which she had brought back from Holland on her last trip. We had my nephew take a picture of our filthy hands to prove we had done the work. Those bulbs will be nice to watch grow in the spring....
My nephew and I discussed the different ways to sell cars.... mine in particular ...
Then off to show houses in every corner of Fairfield County, as these adorable first time home buyers (with baby) try to figure out whether more house and more commute is better than less house closer to work is what they want. I empathize, but it is ultimately their decision, and they are going to work it out over the next 3 weeks. Then, we will meet again to learn more about more areas.
I finished my day with a stop at a friend's store to pick up ink cartridges for one of my new printers. Then cook dinner ...... and fall asleep in front of the TV for an hour or so ... oops!
And now is my blogging time if I can stay awake.
