Meet up at the Beehive in Armonk, NY - Brokers Exchange

Phil Faranda and I (two real estate brokers) met at the Beehive in Armonk, NY for a fabulous lunch! We are from two different states - Phil from Briarcliff, NY, and I from Wilton, CT - but we both run businesses that sell and buy homes for the public.

The restaurant was cozy, and the waiter - Pete - was awesome! We both decided on this fabulous dish, - I had the rest for dinner with Kirk - it was sooo good.

The meat of this is that we exchanged a lot of great ideas, and should definitely do this more often. I think we both run our brokerages in similar ways, and have similar philosophies about life in general... I just wish I had Phil's quick sense of humor! (I think of rebuttals 1/2 hour later than he does..) I do have so much to learn - don't we all? - and Phil is definitely a great mentor for me.

We discussed agents, vendors, IDX, MLS, websites, insurance, and exchanged a few horror stories, and a few fun ones.... He got me to download Foursquare, but then we forgot to get me going on it.... Help, Phil!

Get togethers like this are always healthy for all of us, no matter what field of business we are in.
