Silvermine Woods is a group of homes, in a spread out fashion of a cluster of single family homes or PUD (Planned Urban Community). Usually, the homes are clustered close together, and have "wild" space to share. Here, you have a lovely golf course all around you, space everywhere, and lovely grounds!
The residents all belong to Silvermine Golf Club - there are no membership fees, and you can play year-round golf. Every home obviously has a golf cart in its garage. Is this the place for a golfer to retire to if the golfer wishes to stay in New England? You be it is!

The HOA maintains the landscaping directly around each home for a very low monthly cost, since so much there is being maintained by the Golf Club. There are 24 units in the complex, with approximately 3,500 - 4,500 square feet of living space. All are centrally air conditioned and have finished basements. These Silvermine Woods condos have typically 3-4 bedrooms, 3 + baths, hardwood floors, wood burning fireplaces, high ceilings, and of course decks and two car garages. Having breakfast on your deck overlooking the 27 hole golf course in the warm morning sun would be delicious and a great way to start your day!
These homes are built in the mid 1980's, but many have been totally renovated or at least updated since then. The city sewer and city water are hooked up to this complex.This is Wilton's best kept secret!
