Village Creek is one of Norwalk’s best kept secrets! It is a planned community envisioned by forward thinking individuals who wanted a safe haven from religious and racial discrimination in July of 1949.
Village Creek was built on one of the last remaining undeveloped waterfront properties at the time. It is 67 acres large and today includes 67 individual homes on their own lots.
Village Creek is complete with 800 feet of private beach for Village Creek residents only. Recently they have also begun building a new marina. The marina has 49 slips with water and electricity, and can hold up to a 40 ft boat. The draft is 5 ½ feet (great for sailboats!)
The price at the marina is only $48 a foot – a steal compared to others! (In comparison Cove Marina is $125 a foot!)
There are plenty of slips for Village Creek homeowners, and what is perhaps most amazing is that there is no assessment to the Village Creek homeowners for the marina being built. All of the money to pay for it has actually been raised separately!
