New Constructions in Shelton, CT

As a thriving city, Shelton has been constantly revitalized and improved in the past 15 years, with many new developments, especially infrastructure developments, but also retail and housing.

Many of the new developments targeted the Shelton Center and there are several new construction projects completed in the past few years. Some of them include the Cedar Village at Carroll's on Howe Avenue, with 63 new apartments and Bridge Street Commons, with 72 new apartments and retail.

The development expanded in 2023 in many other areas, with a great number of new developments planned, recently completed or under construction.

One of them is the Riverwalk Place, completed and offering 35 new apartments with first-floor retail.

On Canal Street, there are 2 buildings under construction: Riverview Park Royal, with 92 new apartments and Chromium Commons, with 30 new apartments. Both buildings have a first-floor retail and 10% of the units are put aside as affordable.

Clock Tower at Petremont will soon be completed, offering 100 new homes on Petremont Lane.

Among the larger developments, there is a 152-new homes project planned on River Road, with four apartment buildings, Cedar Village at the Locks on Canal Street, with 129 apartments retail space.
