Fairfield County, Connecticut, known as the “Gold Coast”, is one of the wealthiest communities in the state. From flat terrain near the coast to hilly and higher areas in the northern parts, Fairfield County has breathtaking landscapes, the highest point being 1,290 feet in the town of Sherman. With almost forty miles of Long Island Sound Shoreline, the county has a wealth of commercial advantages and opportunities. In addition, multiple multinational corporations are headquartered in Fairfield County, including General Electric, Xerox, and GTE.
