Currently, the park includes a swimming pool, basketball courts, tennis courts, a football field, playgrounds, picnic areas, and several baseball diamonds and soccer fields. During the summer, Wolfe Park hosts several concerts in a special area within the grounds dedicated to such activities. Connected to Wolfe Park is the beginning of the Monroe Housatonic Railbed Trail, which is an aesthetically pleasing bike trail, and hiking trails.
Located in the southwest part of the park is Great Hollow Lake. Over 700 feet of sandy beach stretch the shore of this lake giving residents a small beach getaway experience. The water is clean makes for a refreshing swim. Also in the lake, trout fishing is incredibly popular and park visitors will often spot fisherman casting away from shore or boat. Small boats, even motorized ones, are allowed on the lake.
