The Knoll Condos / Danbury, CT

The Knoll is a charming condominium complex located in the Shelter Rock neighborhood of  Danbury, CT.  There are 29 units in the complex averaging about ~1800 sq. finished 15 years ago. However there are new many new updates to the homes and they are well taken care of. The entrance to the townhomes are up a flight of stairs next to each home’s attached car garage under the house. 

There are 6 rooms to each townhouse which are used differently between each individual condo. Typically there are 2-3 bedrooms to a house and 2-3 full bathrooms and 1-2 partial bathrooms. Some of the properties have a propane fireplace and pets are allowed. There is central air and it is connected to the town water/sewage.

There is a foyer for some homes at the entrance of the house. Most of the houses have hardwood flooring throughout the home and wall to wall carpeting in a few of the rooms.  There are spacious living rooms on the middle level that let a lot of natural light in. 

There is also a deck and patio for outdoors time situated behind the house. The master bedroom is complete with a walk in closet, full bath and his and her sinks. The additional 

bedroom is equipped with its own walk-in closet and another full bath. Then there is a den/bedroom with sliding doors possibly a ceiling fan and a partial bathroom. 

The laundry room with a washer and dryer in some cases  on the  upper floor and there is a spacious dining room and kitchen. The kitchens are modern offering granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. There is  a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and electric range. There is a balcony/deck connected to the living room and bedroom in some of the houses. 

The house and property is well maintained with a private backyard. There is a fully finished basement too where the den is located that is also usable as a home office. The windows feature storm windows. The complex is right off of Shelter Rock Rd. on Crows Nest to the Knoll. 

It is right down the road from the Shelter Rock Elementary School, which feeds into Broadview Middleschool and finally Danbury Highschool. Meckauer Park is a few blocks away for outdoors time and being situated in Danbury means there is a wide range of stores and activities. A few minutes away from the heart of Danbury puts you in convenient distance of all typical errands. 

 There is plenty of big box shopping available to you like Walmart and Costco as well as local retailers. There is also the Danbury Library open to all, the Ice Arena where you can see local hockey teams compete and then the  Danbury Mall as  a one-stop shop for everything. There is also  an Imax  Movie Theatre that shows the latest blockbusters. 

For commuters that take I-84 with the usual amount of traffic via Shelter Rock Rd. it's about ~15 minutes to Exit 10 toward Waterbury. For those who work in Stamford/Norwalk it is about a ~20 minute drive to Route 7 via CT-53-S.
