I think the real estate market must be booming!
I have tried to pass on a commercial referral to 3 - cannot believe I am writing this number - folks! I never complain, usually, but I am frustrated. I am trying to help these friends, and help some agents with some business ......
No one called my clients after a week. I had conversations over the phone and sent emails back and forth with one of them, confirming the referrals, which included phone numbers and names of the new clients. No follow up. Maybe the referrals were small fish for these folks - why not call me and tell me to find someone else?
Are we in an economy where we should have to chase down referral agents to get them to call the clients after we have passed on the information? I would certainly hope not! I followed up with two of them a second time, and still no response from one of them. The other said she would help them. I told her to hurry and call - they already had found property they were interested in, and needed some representation. I hope this one works out.
Maybe I should just start doing commercial real estate, too. Hopefully, third time is a charm. I would rather not start more new things .....
