Wilton Hardware Store in Wilton, CT 06897 Opens and Restocks!!

Wilton Hardware Store in Wilton, CT 06897 Opens Oct. 26, 2012 just days before Hurricane Sandy came ashore.

The store had hoped to be open by November 1st, but decided to open early to help the townspeople out before the storm. Within hours of being open, the store was empty of batteries, gas cans, flashlights, lanterns, etc. Certain extension cords were sold out, etc.

Andy Eckman, the store manager, has informed me that the store will be restocked with these items early on Monday, October 29th, as the storm hits. He has gotten an emergency delivery.

Now, this is a store that is service oriented and listens to the people it serves! Now we as the townspeople, need to use it and keep those doors open! As I help folks buy and sell their homes, I am always heading into the store for something... yesterday a key copy, tomorrow who knows?
