We never know who is reading our blog posts.  Do you write for the public to read or do you write for Google?  We’re all here in an attempt to be found by potential buyers and sellers who are thinking about calling a real estate agent.

Our main purpose is to direct those individuals to our websites or blogging sites.  However, in order for that to happen, we need to be found by the bots, the spiders.

Our content needs to be well written and have substance.  Once found and indexed, potential buyers and sellers will find us, read our posts, comment and/or call.  We never know who is reading our posts.  We certainly hope to be found and when we are, it’s a great feeling of accomplishment.

When a comment is written by the general public, it’s another notch in our belt of online success, in my opinion.  It means that someone found you with a search on one of the search engines; or your marketing was integrated enough to provide direction in how to find you.

Do you consistently check the various search engines to test your success with many keywords?  I make a habit of doing those searches every week.  It’s important for you to know what the public is seeing, when they do their search for your niche areas.  Can you find you?  How easy is it for you to find you?
