What should you find in a good agent?

Someone who really listens to you and understands that the sale of your home must be teamwork, between the agent and the sellers. The agent is there to guide, not to demand. Google your prospects - ie "Dagny Eason Wilton CT" and see what results appear.

Someone who understands how to market your home all over the internet so it will be found by folks everywhere searching for their type of home.

Call these agents and interview them - find out if there is a fit = trust, like, and knowledge. The process will be easier if you like and respect your agent.

When you have found an agent this way, you also know that the agent is well versed in using the internet for the marketing of your home for sale. That is a very important key element that will be discussed later in the month in this series.
