The Merritt Parkway is a short drive away and this major parkway will take you to Stamford to the south and New Haven and Hartford to the north and east.

Shopping is everywhere with malls, as well as mom and pop stores, which provide just about anything you need. Recreation is closeby with The Shelton Lakes Greenway with 450m acres of hiking and biking trails and lots of wild turkeys and deer. Long Island Sound is not far away with its sandy beaches and there are parks to the north with lakes and boat launches.
